As a lifelong Scot with a deep-rooted love for my homeland, I've found solace and inspiration in the rugged beauty of our landscapes. Whether I'm exploring the windswept Highlands with my family, or capturing the serenity of the lochs, I'm constantly seeking to translate the unique atmosphere and mood of Scotland into my artwork.

My collection includes paintings and art prints of Scottish locations such as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Glencoe, Arran, Skye, Orkney, the Hebridean Islands, Lowlands, Highlands, Castles, Iconic & Historic locations, Lochs, Mountains & Munros.

Born and raised in the historic shipbuilding town of Greenock, I've been immersed in the creative arts from a young age. My formal training in Interior Design in Glasgow provided a solid foundation for my artistic pursuits, allowing me to develop a keen eye for detail and a passion for exploring different visual styles.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in various creative fields, including film and theatre set design, picture framing, and art gallery management. These experiences have enriched my understanding of the art world and helped me to refine my own artistic vision.

Today, my focus is solely on painting, and I strive to create contemporary artworks that capture the essence of Scotland's diverse landscapes. My work ranges from representational pieces that faithfully depict the beauty of our natural world to more atmospheric, impressionistic, and even abstract paintings.

Inspired by my travels, the films I've seen, and the music I listen to, I aim to create artwork that evokes a sense of wonder, nostalgia, and connection to the Scottish spirit.
