When I am checking the colour and quality of my giclee prints forsigning, I receive proof prints. Traditionally, an Artist's Proofremained the property of the artist. In modern times, they are sold atthe same time as open-edition prints. All my Artist's Proofs are signed,titled, dated and have the mark A/P. There is only 1 Artist's Proof forany of my paintings. An Hahnemühle German Etching (310gsm) - A premiumfine art paper with a velvety surface perfect for archival qualityreproductions. A heavy-duty artist paper with a slightly more texturedfinish than standard. The velvety matte surface is optimised forhigh-contrast prints and works brilliantly for proof printing. The paperhas a warm white hue, providing a perfect surface for reproducingpaintings. Landscape ⇆ or Portrait ⇅ proof print dimensions are 20x16inches (50x40 cm).
